What is Sober Living?
Sober living refers to a living environment that supports and promotes individual recovery from addiction or substance abuse. These environments can offer a bridge between inpatient treatment facilities and the return to everyday life. Unlike treatment centers, sober living homes don’t provide clinical therapy, but they do offer structured settings that reinforce a drug-free lifestyle. Residents are typically required to follow house rules, participate in household duties, attend recovery meetings, and show evidence of their commitment to sobriety.
