Stephanie Ayala

Stephanie Ayala began her journey with New Day Recovery Services as a practicum student in 2022. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) with a degree in Addiction Studies. During her academic tenure, Stephanie distinguished herself by earning a national scholarship from NAADAC for her research paper on trauma and addiction. Additionally, she was awarded a state scholarship from the Texas Association of Addiction Professionals (TAAP) for students in recovery, further highlighting her dedication to the field.
Stephanie's commitment to addiction and trauma counseling was further solidified when she earned her license as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern (LCDC-I), marking a significant milestone in her professional journey. She is currently advancing her expertise by pursuing graduate studies to become a marriage and family therapist, with a specialized focus on trauma.
At New Day, Stephanie works in both business development and counseling. Her dedication and passion for her work are evident in her pursuit of excellence, and she hopes to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by trauma and addiction.
